Halloween 2009

Our guys looked choice in their 1980's downtown NYC grunge at Allison Sarofim's annual Halloween bash. Partygoers were decked out in everything from Keith Haring-inspired to graffiti-print outfits. This themed party is the place to be each year for Halloween, and Choice was stoked to help out again!

In early November, some of our guys modeled some of Gilt Groupe's latest fashions at an event. Looking good as always!

"Someday"

Anna Zoe Takes the Stage!

On October 14, talented singer/songwriter, Anna Zoe, took the stage at Sullivan Hall along with Chris Barron of the Spin Doctors, Kevin Bacon of the Bacon Brothers, Jamie McLean, and Mikey Wax.

"I felt so honored to be part of a bill with well-known musicians such as Chris Barron or Kevin Bacon. It really makes you realize your hard work is paying off, and you actually might have some real talent!"

As soon as the lights hit the stage, Anna began to perform, and you could hear the passion and heart behind her music.  I, along with the rest of the audience, was awed by the beauty of her song and voice.

"The audience was so receptive and kept requesting more, which was a first for me. I'm just so thankful for all the support and encouraging words; I can't emphasize enough how much it helps an independent artist to stay inspired to write more music!"

Her performance was contagious; it was powerful and inspiring and I left the Hall wanting more.   I immediately went home and checked out her ep "Someday", which is now available on itunes and Amazon.

Stay tuned for upcoming gigs or go to www.annazoe.com for more information.

"And 26.2 miles later...I'm DONE!!!!"

Congratulations Bob!!!

On Sunday, November 1st, at a time of 3:45:59, 9519 runners later, our very own Bob Haglage crossed the finish line of the NYC Marathon!!

"Wow, what a day. I started at 5 am rested, nimble, agile and ready to go. I finished the day tired, sore, kinda stiff and ready to sleep! But it was a good day."

Bob ran the the race not only to prove to himself that he could do it, but also dedicated his training and efforts to support the American Cancer Society.

"THANKS AGAIN to all of you who have supported me over the past few months  Like endurance race aspirations, the American Cancer Society is also attacking difficult goals, including preventing cancer and diminishing suffering from the disease.  Like me, the Society is putting in a great deal of effort to make these difficult goals possible and to save more lives.  I am going to meet my goal of finishing the race to help them meet their goal to end cancer."

Brown Betty's Kitchen

We are so very proud to be teamed up with Brown Betty's Kitchen as our in house caterer. In honor of the new partnership we gave a tasting to some of NYC's food critics and bloggers last Friday. Zoe 'Brown Betty' Howell served a delicious breakfast spread and 'Raw Model' Anthony Anderson prepared a raw dessert. We presented the BBK team with their personalized Logo Aprons. It was a very special and touching moment. There are great things to come with this new partnership and we are extremely excited for the upcoming holiday season!

Also, Anthony posted about the event on his personal Blog. Check it out:

Animal Care

Last week we help support the NYC ACC with their fundraising event. Our impeccable staff served an array of organic, animal friendly hors d'oeuvres for the NYC ACC that even the dogs couldn’t resist! Our very own Anthony Anderson wowed the guests with his raw chocolate truffle trio! It was a successful event for a great cause.

Dinnerware from fallen LeaVes

At the Bizbash Expo, we stumbled upon this all natural, stylish, eco-friendly, single-use dinnerware! No trees or plants are cut down and no chemicals, dyes, or plastics are used. It's made from fallen palm leaves and only steam, pressure and heat are used in the production! They're microwave, oven, AND refrigerator safe! Plates, bowls, trays, utensils... You name it, they got it! And just when you think it can't get any better, it does! It's the perfect way to add a guilt-free stylish/unique/chic touch to any and every event!

George made the right Choice!

This year George Wayne of Vanity Fair chose his 100 people to know in NYC and Jarred Sper made the list. Congrats to Jarred! We're so proud of you.

School Carnival

Earlier this month we helped throw a carnival for a school in Manhattan. Our fun loving staff manned the carnival games lining the walkway into the school while a juggler and woman on stilts fascinated the entering guests. Children from the elementary and middle school enjoyed a buffet of hot dogs, chicken, and mac and cheese with their parents on the upstairs play deck. There was also a mesmerizing magic show and face painting. The gym was completely transformed where the children and their parents danced the night away!
